Chaffeymoor Grange Wedding

Victoria & Peter - 24th November 2012

Chaffeymoor Grange, Bourton, Dorset

In contrast to recent weeks, today was not only seeing the worst rainfall the county had seen for years, it was also freezing.

Paul met up with Peter and the guys at the nearby clay pigeon shoot, Peter could only just move his arms after squeezing into his mum's Barbour jacket. All returned back to Chaffeymoor rather cold and wet.

During the ceremony, the fire alarm unexpectedly went off - Peter commented that it was because bride Victoria looked so hot!

The miserable weather did keep everyone huddled inside but the joy of Chaffeymoor is that it is a home from home for the weekend and guests can settle in and get comfortable without anyone directing the day. The problem for us as photographers is moving freely and discreetly around guests when congregated tightly together in one room. Along with the tricky lighting conditions, our day was quite a challenge.

"I have realised that I don't think we have ever thanked you properly for all your hard work on our wedding day - it was definitely worth it as the pictures are fab! So, thank you very much. We would not hesitate to recommend you."
