Gray's Inn Wedding

Zoë & Ian - 29th October 2011

There were many firsts for us today at the wedding of Zoë and Ian. Ian spent part of his morning, along with his best men, separating eggs for the cocktail bar later in the day before checking on the 'cloud tent' which the guests would pass through on the way to the reception, stopping for a while in a gin flavoured fog.

Meanwhile Zoë got ready at The Rookery, an exclusive boutique hotel, with her sisters. Mischa had flown over from Canada after a break in filming just the night before.

Zoë and Ian's dog, Mycroft, so named because of their fascination with Sherlock Holmes, was very much part of the day. He seemed to especially enjoy his walk in the beautiful setting of the reception venue, Gray's Inn, where barrister Zoë has her chambers.

Drinks executive Ian definitely brought his work home with him. Apart from the cocktails and cloud tent, him and Zoë opted for a far from traditional jelly cake, which we're almost certain had more than a little 'kick' to it.

We left after some rather enthusiastic Ceilidh dancing, thankfully no one was injured!

"Debi & Paul, thank you so much. You captured beautifully a once in a lifetime experience for us as a family. You were unobtrusive and the photos look wonderful."
