Lord Bute Hotel, Highcliffe, Dorset
Today we were back at Highcliffe Castle and luckily for Kirsty and Gareth it was the start of the predicted heatwave. The low winter sun however proved tricky during the ceremony, even Kirsty had to ask the registrar if she could move as the sun was streaming into her eyes.
For PC Gareth, thanks to the good folks of Hackney and Tottenham, his overtime went some way into paying for the wedding.
The happy couple decided to go for a stroll along the beach, although they weren't expecting to be joined in such close range by a paraglider!
This was our first time back at Lord Bute for several years. We'd forgotten what a cosy and welcoming atmosphere it has although we did have to point out what year it was when the wedding co-ordinator tried to 'arrange' the couple into a twee cake cutting pose. Why do they do that?!?
