Elyse and Royal Marine Andy's wedding really was an Anglo/American affair with many of the guests (and all of the bridesmaids) making the long trip over from Florida. The sun came out for them but although it was one of the nicest days we'd had for weeks, the Floridan contingent thought it was more like the Arctic!

It was the first time we'd been to the church at Piddlehinton and the location really is lovely. A word of warning though, allow plenty of time for very slow moving tractors.

Elyse mentioned when we first met that once the evening started their friends would be straight onto the dance floor and she wasn't wrong.
