We first met Victoria a few weeks before the day dressed in her camouflage uniform. Both her and Richard are mechanics in the army. So what a transformation on the day, she looked stunning.
After they had booked us over a year before, The Duke of Somerset decided to move back in to their original venue so their booking was cancelled. Luckily we were able to suggest Orchardleigh House as an alternative and they loved it.
The morning of the wedding was blighted with torrential rain and high winds but it didn't take the smile off Victoria's face. And just at the exact moment they exchanged rings in the church the sun came out.
Guests had travelled from France and Richard's native Wales and what a great bunch they all were. This was a fabulous wedding to end the season on. And we have to mention Richard's sister Angela who did a superb job making the cake. She really could do this professionally, but she's so modest.
Richard has just returned from tour of duty in Afghanistan and Victoria is heading out there this spring. We want to send them both our best wishes for the future.
