Sam and Luke's wedding took place in cold and icy Bournemouth. The ceremony at St. Marks Church was the last to be conducted by Canon Christopher Rutledge before his retirement
and he was as obliging towards us as he was two years ago when we met him for the first time.
We all had to tread carefully outside. The black ice had covered the churchyard.
Luckily everyone managed to stay upright and Sam didn't complain about the cold once! It was also the first glimpse of winter sun that we'd had so far.
Being so near to
Christmas, the guests tucked in to a turkey dinner at The Orchid. Later on, Sam and Luke's little son, Jake, had a great time joining in with the first dance.
