River Cottage Wedding

Alex & Chris - 24th August 2014

The Guildhall, Lyme Regis, Dorset
River Cottage, Axminster, Devon

Both Alex and Chris were transported to the ceremony in Alex's dad Nick's classic Talbot Sunbeam. To avoid any Bank Holiday traffic delays, Alex arrived an hour early and sat in the car park just outside Lyme Regis drinking coffee. Meanwhile Chris and his friends, many of who had travelled down from Huddersfield, were still drinking something a little stronger in the pub.

Their reception took place at the glorious location of River Cottage, set in the rolling hills of Devon. Not only is the food here good, the staff are absolutely amazing.

Chris won the Welly Wanging competition (no surprise, he used to be a PTI in the Army) and was the proud recipient of The Golden Boot, signed by Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall.
