River Dart Wedding

YHA River Dart, Galmpton, Devon

The setting for Rachel & Daryl's humanist ceremony was the River Dart Youth Hostel Association near Dartmouth. What an amazing place it was with incredible views over the River Dart to Dartmouth. The great thing about humanist ceremonies is the ability to say and do whatever means something special to you. We've never been at a wedding where the guests sang 'Bring Me Sunshine' before! The ceremony was held outside and luckily the weather was perfect. All the guests sat along bench tables and tucked in to a hog roast in the sunshine. Later an ice cream bicycle arrived and the guests queued up for yummy Devon ice creams. And of course we have to mention the oldest Best Man ever, Daryl's 82 year step dad Peter (he won't mind us saying).
