Marquee at Long Paddock, Gutch Common, Dorset
Today was the second of our two very local weddings. We had driven past St. Leonard's many times and always commented on what a beautiful place it was so were very pleased to get to shoot there.
Christabel and Alex's reception was held in Christabel's grandmother's garden. We know that a lot of work had gone into getting everything right. Even when we met a few weeks before, the 'weekend garden helpers' were there busy getting everything perfect and this continued until the last minute on the day! It was well worth it as the setting was very unique.
Alex became our first speaker to use an iPad, a trend that we already know has been repeated.
In the evening the band Doctor Bruce kept everyone on the dance floor for some very entertaining dancing. Glad to see Nicky and Max haven't lost their moves since we photographed their wedding last year. It was also great to see so many familar faces.
