We first met Helen and Nick months before their wedding and just clicked so we were really excited to be covering their day especially when we heard there was to be a Regency theme.
Helen's 'honour guards' were kitted out in Mr Darcy style dress, complete with swords. Helen's stunning dress was made by Simon Paine, even as far as hand carving the wooden buckle for her belt.
Both Helen and Nick play in different bands so it was only right that they would both play a set each during the evening reception. Helen with her folk band 'In Any Order' and Nick with his rock band 'Basement Party'. Nick was more nervous about this part of the day than any other, especially as his band had to change their whole set just days before to incorporate a different drum set. He needn't have worried, both bands were superb.
